I am sorry for what I did, and I am sure the rest of the class is too.
For the most part though, I don't think it was the class's fault.
In my opinion you are too nice to the class. In English for example, you talk to whomever may be listening and seem to forget about the rest. I know this to be true for I have done my homework several times during English.
You threaten to put a name down in the section book, and when you finally do put a name down, you don't put one name down, you put ten. If there are that many that are out of order, you should not stand there threatening to put names down, you should just pull out the first people you see talking and walk them down to the Assistant Principal.
I am sure you are a very good teacher, but you haven't given me a chance to find out. I think your idea of giving us a chance to pick the way we want to be taught is very good -- for another class, but for our purposes, if you give us a choice, we won't do either.
Thus, in my opinion, if you want this class to succeed in learning something, you will have to be much more concerned about what goes on in your classroom.
